Abstract
L’inserimento nell’art. 9 della Costituzione di ambiente, biodiversità ed ecosistemi come oggetti specifici di tutela da parte della Repubblica rappresenta il passaggio da una visione antropocentrica a una prospettiva di “antropocentrismo situato”. Questa prospettiva di sintesi, rappresentata dal termine “ecosistemi”, guarda al bilanciamento equilibrato tra le istanze di tutela dell’uomo e della natura e non rappresenta un indebolimento del principio personalista della Costituzione, ma un suo ulteriore avanzamento.

Environment, biodiversity ecosystems: reflections on Art. 9 of the Italian Constitution

The inclusion of the environment, biodiversity, and ecosystems in Article 9 of the Constitution as specific objects of protection by the Italian Republic marks the transition from an anthropocentric vision to a perspective of “situated anthropocentrism.” This perspective, represented by the term “ecosystems”, seeks a balanced equilibrium between the protection of both humans and nature and does not weaken the Constitution’s personalist principle but rather represents its further advancement.
